Dieter Klein is the main antagonist of Johnny English franchise. he was the German terrorist and the right hand man of Pascal Sauvage.
He was portrayed by Steve Nicolson.
Biography[]
Johnny English[]
Dieter Klein and Klaus Vendetta were responsible for the theft of the Crown Jewels in 2003. Unfortunately for them, a pair of MI7 secret agents, Johnny English and Angus Bough, were tasked with guarding the gems. During the ensuing shootout, Klein threw a smoke grenade as a diversion, enabling him and Vendetta to escape in a hearse. After a vehicle chase, the two managed to elude their pursuers.
Klein and Vendetta later met with their leader Pascal Sauvage to discuss his plans. He tells them that if English has been too stupid, the pair will eliminate him.
Klein appeared one last time in the Sauvage's tower when English and Bough infiltrated the building. Being alone, Klein was easily detained by the MI7 agents. While attempting to interrogate Klein, English accidentally gave Klein a muscle relaxant rather than the intended truth serum, which results in the German collapsing in a deep sleep.
Once he woke up, Klein joined his boss Sauvage at his party and warned him that English had arrived.
