Dave Williams

Dave Williams also known as the alias Blue, was a hidden villain from 2021-2023 until it was eventually revealed who Dave Williams really was, a gangster who who has no issue with taking people's lives. Dave served as the main villain of Hollyoaks between June and September 2024.

Dave Williams was played by Dominic Power who also played serial killer Cameron Murray on rival soap opera Emmerdale.

History

In his first few years Dave was seen as your everyday family man he worked as a postman and that's all what seemed to be going in Dave's life. He was instantly revealed to he the father of Maxine Minniver. After the failed marriage to Honor Chen-Williams, Dave went on a spiral taking drugs and drinking heavily thats until he would meet his future wife in Cindy Cunningham, Dave seemingly had his life back on track until the day of his wedding arrived and his adoptive daughter Lizzie took a tainted ecstasy pill that where on streets because of the local gangster Warren Fox, despite Warren's best efforts to get the pills off the street in time, lizzie still tragically died in the arms of Dave which devastated him, while doing a job for Warren at The Loft as Dave was also the local handyman, Dave overheard a conversation between Warren and Rex Gallagher about the deaths involving the pills.

What follows is Dave confronting Rex then going awol for a couple of weeks until he returns, during his return Warren is being targeted by a unknown gangster only going bybthe name Blue who hasn't been active since 2017 and by the end of July 2024, Warren's mother Norma Crow is ruthlessly gunned down by Blue the following month in August, Dave is revealed to be Blue, it would be revealed Dave put his life of crime behind him which in his words "locked Blue in a box" after he killed a social worker along with Lizzie's baby. It was also revealed that Dave worked for notorious gangster Fraser Black. Dave later gets Rex to plant the shot gun he used to kill Norma in Warren's home.

By September 2024, Dave learns of Warren's escape from prison this leaves Davs desperate and seeks out to finally confront Warren. He eventually does and reveals himself as Blue, the two men fight it out but Dave stabs Warren as Warren seemingly gets the upper hand of theirbfight. Dave has Warren at his feet but Warren is able to disarm Dave and shoot him seemingly killing Dave however after Warren made his escape, Dave was revealed to jave surrived the shooting but Robbie Roscoe, who unknowingly tracked down Dave picked up the gun and fired two shots into Dave this time killing him. It's beleived Robbie did this as Dave could have possibly killed Hannah Ashworth, Robbie's girlfriend and Dave was the guy the pair tried to fleece for months.

Before having a showdown with Warren. Dave planted bombs under the cars of those who helped Warren escape prison, the resulting detonation of those bombs killed local lawyer James Nightingale.

Murders Directly Caused By Dave

1. Many unknown people - All murdered by Dave between the 1990s and 2014. Some of these would have likely been ordered by Fraser Black.
2. Philip - Purposely rammed Philip off the road.
3. Baby Girl - Killed Lizzie's baby while ramming Philip off the road however Dave was unaware she was present.
4. Norma Crow - ruthlessly shot with a shot gun.
5. James Nightingale - Died from a bomb planted by Dave.

Attempted Murders

1. Donny Clark - Attempted to shoot and later planted a bomb under his car for helping Warren escape prison.
2. Warren Fox - Twice attempted to shoot Warren.
3. Joel Dexter - Injected with herion.
4. Ste Hay - Planted a bomb under the car Ste used to help Warren escape.
5. Freddie Roscoe - Planted a bomb under his car for helping Warren escape prison.
6. Grace Black - Attempted to plant a bomb under Freddie's car for helping Warren escape prison.

Trivia

• Dave wasn't originally brought into the show as a villain.
• Dave has more kills than Cameron Murray who Dominic Power also played.
• Dave had the alias Blue due to having piercing Blue eyes.
• It's never mentioned therefore unconfirmed but it's not unlikely to assume that Dave could have worked alongside Trevor Royle, Ray McCormick and Glenn Donovan giving all of these people have worked with and for Fraser during the same time Dave did but bare in mind that this is just a pure calculated speculation at this point.
