Dark Mantis also known as Darkneid Kamakil in Japan version, he is one of the Maverick eight bosses that appears in Megaman X8.

In battle, Dark Mantis is many similar to a ninja when goes attack. He can run to the ground to try grab the player. And if can he will drain your health. When it uses its overdrive attack it will use the power blades. He then screens a long cutscene with the Maverick Hunters, and in the fight he is defeated by Maverick Hunters. His weakness is the Optic Sunflower.
