Digimon Adventure 01[]
DarkTyrannomon was seen as Myotismon's minion. DarkTyrannomon invaded the Odaipa area while Myotismon was searching for the eighth DigiDestined. DarkTyrannomon stopped the captured mob from fleeing the building. Togemon fought DarkTyranmon but was defeated. DarkTyrannomon was about to destroy Mimi's parents until Mimi's Symbol of Innocence started to glow and Togemon evolved into Lilimon. Lilimon rendered DarkTyrannomon harmless with his Flower Sceptor attack, but Myotismon destroyed DarkTyrannomon.
Digimon Adventure 02[]
A group of DarkTyrannomons were seen under the influence of the Digimon Emperor's dark ring. SkullGreymon destroyed some of them during the battle. DarkTyrannomon also appeared in the human world at Matt's concert and in New York.

A group of DarkTyrannomons were seen in Dorbickmon's Dragon Digimon army in the Dragon Land.

DarkTyrannomon attacked the Chosen Ones near the military base, but Yamato and Garurumon, with the help of the other children, managed to defeat DarkTyrannomon.
