Col. Daniel Spoon only appeared at Tweedy's farm when he arrived in the circus truck and sinisterly glares at Ginger and rings the doorbell at the house and tells Mrs. Tweedy that he initially launched Rocky out of the cannon and landed into her farm. He suddenly hears a squawk nearby (thinking it’s Rocky but is Ginger). She tells him that Rocky in valuable and replies sur. He now briefly sees Rocky hiding by one of the chicken huts while Melisha is searching for Rocky but fails to find him. He was never seen again later after he fails to find Rocky. However, after the night he left the farm he may have looked for another animal for a circus act and Rocky Rhodes may have been disqualified out of the circus.
Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget[]
While Col. Daniel Spoon doesn’t physically return in the sequel, he is seen on a newspaper on the wall headlined “Cock-A-Toodle Oo!” Meaning Rocky had escaped the circus.
Trivia[]
- The name “Col. Daniel Spoon” can be found on Rocky's promotional poster, well it’s unknown if that’s his name or is the main owner of the circus, despite this he is referred as “Circus Man”. However, when Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget was released on Netflix, Nick Park the director confirmed his name was “Col. Daniel Spoon” on a newspaper.
- He is likely disowned by Rocky Rhodes due to his abuse from the cannon by getting launched out when he can’t fly from being a rooster or because Rocky may fear cruelty in the circus when it comes to dangerous attractions.
- It is unknown if the circus went out of business due to Rocky on the loose but has got a new circus animal.
- He is very similar to Ringmaster from Dumbo: Both started off as unnamed characters and were very abused to the circus animals and caused dangerous harmed circus attractions making them become sworn enemies.
