Chief Goppernopper is the former king of Caveland and is one of the two main antagonists (alongside his descendant, J. P. Goppernopper) of the 2010 comic book The Adventures of Ook and Gluk: Kung-Fu Cavemen From the Future.

Biography[]

Every time Chief Goppernopper to be the big shot, Ook and Gulk always ruin it! Atfer he found out his chair and draw on, He and his guards are going to arrest Ook and Gulk! When Goopernooper fell in love with Lan, he yelled that she must merry him for he put Ook and Gulk in jail, Atfer Ook and Gulk save Mog Mog they crashed the wedding and use Lilly to attack Goppernopper which make him quit his job as chief.

When Chief Goppernopper and his thugs see JP and his employees down the trees while they are out in the bush, JP and his men first appear. The two men, realizing they are related, set off for JP's era in 2222 AD. Since most of the earth's natural resources will have been depleted by the year 2222, JP and his soldiers create a time machine to take materials from the prehistoric era. The two men return to Caveland and take the locals prisoner. The men attempt to execute Ook and Gluk by returning them to 2222, but their dinosaur sidekick Lily pursues them, biting Chief Goppernopper and his men on the feet, freeing the boys.

When the boys grow up, they fight Chief Goppernopper's troops with Lily and obliterate JP's robots. When the three main characters venture back in time, they discover that industries have taken the place of the forest and that enslavement is still prevalent. By battling the men, the lads and Lily manage to release the Caveland residents as well as Gak, Ook's sister. When Chief Goppernopper reappears, he sends an army of mechanical dinosaurs—dubbed the Mechasaurs—that pursues our heroes into the future. They seek refuge in a warehouse, disguise themselves by donning bags on their heads, and then spray-paint their faces on the Goppernopper Tower and other buildings they eventually damage. The Mechasaurs and the boys are then sprayed onto an explosives barrel by Lily, and destroyed.

JP and Chief Goppernopper set out to find Ook and Gluk by looking at all the Kung-Fu schools in the area and realizing there is only one. The two then kidnap the Wongs and tie them up. Ook and Gluk arrive to save them. Goppernopper tells them that if they tie themselves up then they will spare the Wongs but they lie and decide too kill all of them.

Asking the two Goppernoppers who is the greatest man, Ook and Gluk recall their training. They fight and argue over who is the greatest man because they both believe they are the greatest man, which is the cause of their conflict. JP foolishly uses his laser weapon to fatally shoot Chief Goppernopper when he succeeds, but this action causes him to gradually vanish. The world is rebuilt without Goppernoppers, since it turns out that JP murdered his long-dead great grandpa before he could have children, preventing the occurrence of his successors. As a result, JP and his company vanish from existence. Before the time portal is entirely closed, Ook, Gluk, and Lily travel back to Caveland and bring Lan with them.
