Her parents deserted her when she left, because she wanted to be a transsexual. She then started dating a man named Eddie, whose brother Joe knew her and knew her secret, Joe wanted to tell Eddie but Cheryl hit Eddie's asshole brother in the head with a vase, causing him to collapse unconscious and went to a hospital and soon began to bleed and he and he soon died in hospital. Cheryl tells the police that she never wanted to kill him and was a legitimate defense, the police soon discovered that in fact it was not legitimate defense and that Cheryl tried to hurt Joe even in the intentions of killing them.
A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot tries to make an agreement with Cheryl but she refuses because she does not stop taking feminine hominies and did not accept the protective custody, then Alex took its privileges, Cheryl was found guilty and sentenced to prison for men in the Prison of Rikers, Cheryl was then raped by a group of prisoners in jail and taken to a hospital.
