Charles Johnson was the main antagonist of the episode Strange Fruit in the ninth season of Criminal Minds.
He is portrayed by Glynn Turman and Kian Morr.

Biography[]
Charles was born in the year 1940, his mother helped his father who was a butler. He studied at a school in 1960, at the same time that African-Americans suffered discrimination at the time. Around 1961, when he was a serior, he was soon attacked by six white men who were members of the Ku Klux Klan, a girl named Audrey Collins who was with him told the boys that Charles raped him, although all that she had said it was just a lie. The boys then took Charles and castrated him as a punishment. This made Charles very angry with Audrey for lying and especially for Karl Beck. Pursuing himself and wanting to take revenge, even holding a grudge for what they did, Charles soon began his revenge, in the year 1978 on July 1, Charles soon kills James Moses one of the members of the Ku Klux Klan and who participarted in the castrated of Charles.
Then around 9 September he kills another man and mutilates his genitals. Then in 2003, in revenge for Audrey having armed him, Charles then kills his daughter named Mary Ann Beck, then on the 18th of July, Charles kills his last victim, Rachel Mills who was the daughter of one of the men who participated in Charles's castraction. Also before Charles started his murders he had also made a family, with Tina a woman he had met, although because of the castraction, Charles was taking a lot of testosterone, he had adopted a son, named Lyle Johnson, and despite showing him being problematic, he somehow showed affection to his foster father.

Then BAU soon receives a complaint from dead people, in the property of the Johnson, with the BAU at first takes custody Lyle, but for lack of evidence, and then when the evidence, and the profile leads to Charles, they soon resolve escort Charles for testimony as a suspect. He is interrogated by David Rossi, and at first Rossi while interrogating Charles, including he also told Charles that at that time, even though he did not want to do the wrong things, they were obliged to do it. BAU after Rossi's interrogation soon classified him as a sociopath, due to his coldness and hostility. After a series of interrogations, BAU soon decide to call Morgan to interrogate, Johnson, but that doesn't work out very well when Johnson refuses to question himself for him, except to Rossi. Then when Rossi manages to get Johnson to reveal everything that happened that day, and Rossi guarantees that the will keep Johnson's secret if he gives the names of his victims.
Motives[]
After being castrated and seeing his masculinity being humiliated, in addition to being a victim of racism, as having been castrated by his aggressors. He certainly developed sociopathic traits and manipulated him, he also became very vindicted and redivided his to the aggressors' families, he also as seen in the episode, he held a certain grudge towards Audrey for having lied to the Nazis and that they did spay.
