Narcissists are villains who believe that they are "magnificent" people, that they are superior to everyone else, better at everything, and are the most beautiful beings on the planet/universe, looking down on others. Narcissists can be easily recognized because they often use "I" statements in sentences and talk about themselves only in grandiose terms, including citing what they consider to be magnificent actions and achievements, even if they are insignificant. Such villains suffer from arrogance, narcissistic personality disorder, and a God complex, because they love themselves so much and consider themselves "the one and only" that they begin to be amazed at their own superiority and often begin to believe that they are gods among men, if not higher. More often than not, it is the narcissism of such villains that can be their main motive to show everyone how superior they are to others. However, narcissists, despite their self-love, can still care about, respect, and even love other people, such as family or a love interest, or a close friend, but often these positive characteristics are sidelined and often distorted by narcissism.

Narcissists will VERY RARELY be Affably Evil or Nihilists, as narcissists consider themselves so superior to others that they are generally dismissive of other people, and their self-love is unlikely to allow them to give their life to express their nihilistic worldview. But it is not impossible. For example, a narcissist can be Affably Evil if they have relatively good relationships with subordinates, or if they try to contain their narcissism and behave normally with others. In the case of Nihilism, the narcissist may believe that life is meaningless from the start, but only because they are not getting what they want and there is something they don't like about the world as it is. Such villains are known as Egoistical/Narcissistic Nihilists, and must display their selfish nihilism early on, for if they do later, they are not considered worthy. A narcissist may be Honorable, if for example a hero saved their precious life, and may show some gratitude, but given their nature this is rare, and therefore narcissists are almost never like this.

A narcissist is usually a Psychopath, since narcissists, like psychopaths/sociopaths, have little or no empathy for others or remorse, and are usually sadistic. However, if a narcissist shows sincerely remorse or empathy for someone, they are unlikely to be a psychopath.

Notable examples of narcissists include: Bubble Bass, Bonnie (Bonnie's Body), Bill Cipher, Cruella De Vil, Big Jack Horner, Doctor Eggman, Judge Claude Frollo, and William Afton.
