Mummies

Similar to Zombies and Skeletons, Mummies are the Undead usually depicted as reanimated corpses preserved via mummification, hence the name - they are believed to have supernatural powers such as curses and/or magic beyond Zombies or Skeletons and thus seen as the higher undead much like Liches, Vampires and/or revenants.

Commonly Egyptian, they are among the most popular movie monsters of all time, with Imhotep being an iconic example of Mummies depicted in films.
