Incompetent Antagonists

Antagonists who are more likely to accidentally foil their own plots than the protagonists/heroes they're fighting against, due to stupidity, bumbling, poor planning, cowardly behavior, weak strength, equally more incompetent henchmen, and/or arrogance on their part.

Incompetent Antagonists can also have several schemes that are ultimately stupid, pointless or do little to cause chaos. Sometimes their attempts at antagonistic blow up in their face by either causing them great harm or even aiding the protagonists/heroes.

Most incompetent antagonists are used in comedies. Though some incompetent villains/antagonists can be very annoying.
