Arrogant

Antagonists who have excessive pride as a prominent part of their personality. Arrogant Antagonists, (Prideful Antagonists), are often overconfident in their abilities, which can lead to their defeat. They sometimes refuse to accept defeat even when it's very obvious or will keep on coming even after being defeated. These antagonists also rarely learn their lessons or learn from their mistakes, leading to further defeats.

Not to be confused with Egomaniacs, who are individuals suffering from an obsession with their own self-worth (though the two are often heavily confused). What really helps set these two apart is that while having an undeserved high opinion of themselves, arrogant antagonists also have a brazenly low opinion of others. Egomaniacs are usually too busy obsessing about themselves to have low opinions of others.
