Almost Pure Evil

Near Pure Evil (also known as Almost Pure Evil) are villains who came close to being pure evil but failed to due to having some factor in their character from preventing from being so. Either due to having a redeemable quality, being insufficiently heinous but not too much, or being a minor amoral. However, in order for a villain with PE preventions to qualify as NPE, their PE preventions must be kept at minimum and not be too severe.

Villains who are not NPE can sometimes qualify as this if they have an almost completely evil personality.
