Brent ''Slappy'' Ernst is one of the much bosses psychopaths that appeared in Dead Rising 2 and also in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.
He was working as a mascot for a TV character and promoting the show at Kid's Choice Clothing. During his time as a mascot he fell in love with Louise, another would have worked with him and dressed as the girl Slappy, Suzy. They were about to go on a date when she was killed in a zombie outbreak.

When Chuck arrives and soon sees Louise dead corpse, he is apprached by Brent who saw him on TV, and blames him for his girlfriend's death and goes to attack Chuck with his skates and even using a circular fire attack. Soon after in the battle when he is defeated by Chuck, he simply falls nest to Louise and tells his last words to her about having a date with her before she seems to die. He gets up a few seconds later before dying and shoots, ''Do not worry, Slappy will live forever!'' before dropping dead for good.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record[]
The role and hystory of Brent is similar to that of the second game, only that Brent's madness goes further to the point where he believes that he Slappy and that his toy and Suzy need to be fixed. But he soon comes to the conclusion that Frank wants things to be broken by photography. After Frank defeats Brent, he soon creeps up to Louise, speaking as they were, ''in a toy box in the sky''.
