Blank the Animatronic, also known as Withered Blank, is a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Candy's series.
He serves as a major antagonist in Five Nights at Candy's, it's remake Five Nights at Candy's Remastered, and Five Nights at Candy's 2, and a cameo character in Five Nights at Candy's 3.
In Five Nights at Candy's 2, like the other animatronics, he is withered and broken because he was abandoned and left at the Rowboatics Corp. factory 14 years ago.
Appearance[]
Blank is a white animatronic covered with drawings. After sustaining damage from the nightguard, he is missing most of his right arm and has cracks around his eyes and on his chest.
In Five Nights at Candy's 2, he is the most damaged of the animatronics, missing his hands, as well as plating on his legs, arms, shoulders, and on the right side of his face. The drawing on him are all faded out and smudged
Biography[]
Before Five Nights at Candy's/Five Nights at Candy's Remastered[]
Blank was introduced in 1964, when the original Candy's Burgers & Fries opened. He is a decades-old pale animatronic who serves as an exhibit to draw. He was damaged by the previous nightguard for an unknown reason, only for the nightguard to be murdered by RAT. He was the partner of Old Candy, but compared to him, Blank got reused because the children liked him.
Five Nights at Candy's/Five Nights at Candy's Remastered[]
Blank first appears on Night 3 of the game, where he attacks through the left door. He and the other animatronics try kill Mary Schmidt, but fail. After the custom night, Mary is fired for tampering with the animatronics' controls.
Five Nights at Candy's 2[]
Years later, Mary's daughter Marylin loses a bet with her friend and is forced to stay five nights in the factory. There, she encounters the now-withered Blank, as well as other broken animatronics. After Night 6 is completed, the factory burns down, presumably destroying Chester and the others.
Five Nights at Candy's 3[]
While Blank doesn't physically appear in the game itself, he does appear in the 'Candy's Adventure Minigam' minigame.

Trivia[]
- Blank was created accidentally. Emil Macko originally made him as a tutorial for modelling animatronics in video games, only to realise that he had forgot to record the tutorial. Instead of scrapping his work, he finished it and made Blank, using him as a drawing attraction.
- According to Emil, Blank is cleaned once a week for new drawings.
- Blank is the only animatronic which attacks through the security booth window.
- This is fairly similar to how Foxy behaves in FNAF 1. However, unlike Foxy, Blank seems to become less aggressive after he attacks. He seems to not only spend additional time disabled after each attack, but checking the cameras seem to disable him for more time as well. Something notable about this mechanic is that after 4 attacks he will be disabled for the rest of the night.
- Blank was created in 1964. This would make him 25 years old during the first game and 45 years old during the second one.
