Government-suppressed free energy source... the Electric Great White!
~ Trip Westhaven

The Bio-Electric Great White, or simply Electric Great White, is a large evolved great white shark who lives in the waters of Plover Island in the Truth Quest DLC for the 2020 Shark RPG game, Maneater. It's the first of the seven evolved Apex Predators in Truth Quest.

Characteristics[]

In the ocean, a young shark's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of eating an electric great white.
~ Bio for the Electric Great White

Measuring an estimated 10.5 M (34.4 ft), the Electric Great White is a shark to be reckon with. At level 45, its 30 times more powerful than regular Great Whites, 27 times more powerful than albino great whites, 20 times more powerful than hunted great whites, and 16 times more powerful than the largest shark and great white in Port Clovis, the Apex Great White. The shark is mostly blue all over because of it's bio-electric evolution. Like the MEGA Shark's bio-electric set, the Electric Great White can give its enemies an electric shock with its teeth and admits electric currents when dodging. This makes the Electric Great White even harder to fight than the Apex Great White in Prosperity Sands.

Based on the size of the Electric Great White, it's very possible that it's a female since female great whites are bigger than males. This makes the Electric Great White bigger than the Apex Great White, whose the largest great white and shark in Port Clovis.

History[]

Life in Plover Island[]

The Electric Great White lives in the waters off Plover Island which is an advanced Military Complex where Trip Westhaven believes the source of evolved wildlife maybe coming from. Not much is know for the shark's history but it's possibly it was once a normal female great white and at some point in it's life, got exposed to the radiation leaking out from the complex, and eventually evolving the Bio-Electric Mutation which allows the shark to give an electric shock to other creatures as well as rendering them temporarily paralyzed after being bitten.

Fight against the MEGA Bull Shark[]

After taking out two radio towers, eat 2 groups of sailors, and doing 2 time trails, the MEGA Shark the area where the Electric Great White is when the Objective, "Electric Mayhem" pops up. Upon entering the area, a cutscene plays with the shark zig zagging with its electric shock as it approaches the player with its mouthing wide open in a freeze screen as Trip Westhaven says. "Government-suppressed free energy source... the Electric Great White!" and the shark swims out of view as the cutscene ends.

After the cutscene, the fight between the MEGA Shark and Electric Great White begins. The MEGA Shark must take extreme caution when fight the Electric Great White cause like her bio-electric set, the Electric Great White can also unleash an electric show and drain health with its electric teeth. If the shark gets grabbed by the Great White and thrashed a bit before being released, she'll be shocked temporarily, disabling any moves such as tail whip, or opening her jaw. After shaking off the electricity, the shark gets back in the fight to defeat the evolved great white. After taking too much beating from the MEGA shark, the Electric Great White eventually succumbs to its defeat as its body floats in the water and the shark has completed the objective. Once bitten one last time, the Great White becomes meat chunks for the shark to eat getting both proteins and mutagens, while also rewarding the shark the atomic fins.

Apparently, there's more than one that the Bull Shark can take on in Plover Island. It's optional to kill more of them as practice to take on as either practice for preparing if the other Electric Great Whites showed up later in the future as main or optional objectives which is nearly the case for a bigger but more dangerous one, like the Irradiated Electric Great White, but they appeared sometimes uncommon, or rare.
