The Bikini Bottom Police Department (BBPD) are major characters in the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. While mostly dedicated to arresting anyone who commit crimes, they have played a villainous role in some episodes.

Villainous Acts[]

"Hall Monitor": Two officers asked Patrick if he has seen the maniac causing trouble in Bikini Bottom (which is actually SpongeBob). After realizing that Patrick is scared of the picture of the maniac they show him, they decide to have a little fun and scare him with it until they leave. Later when the officers confront SpongeBob, Mrs. Puff berates SpongeBob for the trouble he caused. However, after one of the officers asks if Mrs. Puff knows him, they arrest her instead by putting her into prison for six months.
"Party Pooper Pants": Two police officers arrested SpongeBob for not inviting them to his party. Because of this, SpongeBob sent to jail for the rest of the night.
"The Inmates of Summer": The Warden tortures his prisoners and his right-hands Barney and Bernie who are also shown to be corrupt because they aid the Warden with his crimes.
"Banned in Bikini Bottom": Al Gristlepuss helps his wife and her organization close down the Krusty Krab for the petty reason and banned Krabby Patties in Bikini Bottom.
"Ditchin": The police accuse Dale of being a cannibal because he eats candy fish. Because of this, he arrests him.
"Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy": The police arrested Sandy for the public nudity, for which she was only naked because Plankton steals her fur.
"Keep Bikini Bottom Bottom Beautiful": The police officer gives Squidward eight tickets, but most of them that he didn't do anything wrong.
"Sweet and Sour Squid" : The police arrested Plankton for disturbing the peace by playing the clarinet badly (even though it was actually Squidward who did it) and runs over Squidward's clarinet.
"Little Yellow Book": Before arresting Squidward for reading SpongeBob's diary, Officer Nancy told him that she had a diary once, his brother read it and she had a brother once, which it was revealed that she killed her own brother for reading her diary.
"The Executive Treatment": The police arrest Marv for the Boss and fighting Patrick, for which it was actually Patrick who start the fight. Later, the police arrest Patrick by sending him to jail for corporate espionage. However, when Patrick rips off his prison uniform and changes to his executive outfit, the prison guard fails to catch Patrick and reports him missing, meaning that Patrick is able to escape because of his stupidity.
"Pinned": The two police officers are about to arrest SpongeBob for accidentally assaulting Squidward, but they ignored him because it was Squidward who called them.
"Stuck in an Elevator": The two police officers arrest Squidward for not returning a book from a library for thirty seconds, for which he was just stuck in an elevator.
