She appears in the Fresh Prince parody video in a flashback where she imparts some wisdom to her son: "Keep your head up, be kind, and you'll find your way."
She raised Bert on Sesame Street, not far from where Bert lived once he moved out of his mother's house: 123 Sesame Street.
