Biography[]

Background[]

Around an unknown time, Belle became a leading Meta Runner with her best friend, Lucinia Porter. In the past, she was in TAS Corp's main lineup with Masa Shimamoto and Lucinia Porter. She appeared to be more friendly when Lucinia Porter was around with her and she was also taught speed-running tricks by Lucinia. One year later, Masa was decommissioned by Lucks after he was following what Lucks was up to. With Lucinia Porter's disappearance, it has affected Belle and she became greatly worried about her.

Season 1[]

One day, she attempts to beat the Ultra Jump Mania speed-run world record and ultimately fails with one Coconut-Burst Jump. Whenever she discovers Tari playing Ultra Jump Mania, she warps inside of the game. Belle then lets Lucks know that Tari is inside of the game despite failing the Ultra Jump Mania speed-run world record. Later, she lets every customer out of the TAS Corp store until she sees the TAS Corp commercial and commands the TAS Corp bot-boy to change it. Then, she hears Lucks harming Tari in the real world thinking that he's gone way too far with it and makes her release a sonic scream with Theo coming out of his game.

With Tari and Theo back in the real world, they both start to run from TAS Corp and Lucks commands Belle to capture both Tari and Theo. She then finds both of them at The Hive by messaging Tari while Theo is live streaming. She successfully captures Tari but loses Theo whenever she was hit in the head by Theo's coconut shell and the mercenaries couldn't capture him.

In the van, Belle mentions that TAS Corp only wanted Tari only for research, but Tari thinks that she would get abused again. She also mentions that the least painful thing for a Meta Runner to give up is their arm. Belle then explains about her life being at TAS Corp that she has gotten used to it. When Tari questions about Theo, the van gets hit and is crashed by another vehicle. Tari then gets out of the van and gets inside of Lamar's vehicle and escapes.

Lucks arrives and Belle gets inside of the car and drives to pursue Tari again. She drives dangerously fast until she crashes into another vehicle and loses Lucks' henchmen. With Tari escaping again, she gets confused about how Tari managed to drive over the dead-end road. Lucks then decides to have Tari at TAS Corp instead of wanting her abilities. Belle replies back that Lucks is becoming creepy.

On her way back to TAS Corp, she is sent by Lucks to the research facility and investigates inside of a familiar lab. Finding nothing, Belle kicks a box with a blue hard drive dropping on the floor. Inserts it in her Meta Runner arm and the screen opens up Project Blue. She then watches raw footage of Project Blue and Dr. Sheridan until she reaches file four which was a corrupted file. She watches the fifth and final file with the lab explosion and a familiar voice she recognizes.

She then sadly shows Lucks the Project Blue hard drive, and both watch the footage of Dr. Sheridan and the lab explosion. Making Lucks realize that Dr. Sheridan was with the lab explosion and Belle recognizes Lucinia Porter's voice. Belle then thought that Lucinia Porter may have died in the lab explosion after watching the Project Blue videos. With Belle having a memory of Lucinia Porter, she suddenly started to have a belief that Tari may have killed Lucinia Porter. If she wants to learn more about Project Blue, Lucks tells her that she has to find Tari.

At Gamma Tech Stadium, Belle fights off Tari and MD-5 in a game of Tempest with her team. Her entire team gets wiped out except for herself and she follows MD-5 up to the mountain and eliminates Lamar and Masa. Defeating Masa, she ignores Lucks and pins Tari on the ground wanting to talk with her.

She then asks Tari if she ever did anything to Lucinia Porter. Tari still doesn't remember who Lucinia is and Belle begins to threaten with her fireball to harm Tari. Tari then tells her to stop, and she will explain about Lucinia, but Belle is tricked by her and Tari frees herself. With Belle's best attempts to stop Tari, she successfully executes the glitch, and the Tempest game crashes. Unfortunately, MD-5 is surrounded by Lucks after attempting to escape from Gamma Tech Stadium and Lucks shoots off Masa's Meta Runner arm and threatens to have him killed if Sofia doesn't show up.

Sofia decides to give up her tablet to Lucks and wants to know what happened with her sister, Lucinia. Belle then tells her as she thought that Lucinia Porter is dead. She shows Sofia the Project Blue lab explosion footage, making Sofia upset. As Tari wants Lucks to stop hurting her friends, he crushes Theo's game cartridge and holds him hostage. Tari then walks away with Lucks and joins TAS Corp.

In the stinger scene of Shutdown, Belle sees Sofia's phone in a trashcan. She picks it up and sees an upset Sofia walk away with a TAS Corp mercenary being sent back home. Then, she puts Sofia's phone in her pocket after being notified by Lucks and walks back to the van ridden back to TAS Corp with MD-5 being ridden back to their hideout.

Season 2[]

Six months have passed, Belle wins a showmatch along with Tari as her teammate. Back at TAS Corp, she tries to hack into Sofia's phone but doesn't get through. While Evelyn asks her a few questions, she mentions Lucinia making Belle upset since her disappearance. Evelyn understands how Belle was a good friend of Lucinia and regrets bringing the topic to her and leaves her room. After having a conversation with Evelyn, she heads off to bed and she will figure out something with Tari.

With Evelyn Claythorne being a new member of TAS Corp, she is training with Tari for their showmatch. Suddenly, Belle discovers Theo in TAS Corp's servers while he is escaping from his quarantine cell. Belle is surprised by how Theo got into TAS Corp's servers until he is captured by the TAS Corp server bots and put back into his quarantine cell.

Eventually, she discovers Tari and Evelyn in Evelyn's room with Tari showing her the Pocket Gakusei dating simulator game. Evelyn mentions that she isn't allowed to have her own games and Belle wants to speak with Tari outside. Belle gives her the Pocket Gakusei game, and she isn't going to tell Lucks. Belle also mentions that she doesn't care about following TAS Corp's rules anymore. With Tari thanking her, Belle replies back that Tari shouldn't really mention it or both will be punished by Lucks.

Later, Belle hacks into the security cameras and quietly enters Dr. Sheridan's abandoned lab. She turns on the computer and greets Theo. Then, she uses the game controller to free Theo out of his quarantine cell and wants help from him to find anything related to Project Blue in TAS Corp's servers. Theo suddenly finds a Project Blue file that said something about Lucinia and Belle commands him to load the file. Protecting Theo from TAS Corp server bots, she successfully gets the Project Blue file and sneaks back to her room.

Coming back to her room, Belle says that Theo will be okay as she regrets leaving him there and watches the Project Blue file of Lucinia Porter. She finishes watching the file footage and realizes that Lucks has lied to her about Lucinia Porter's disappearance. She becomes serious and she will avenge Lucinia Porter and comes into Tari's room. She speaks to Tari and believes that she never killed Lucinia Porter and wants to join MD-5. However, Masa and MD-5 still couldn't trust her, and Tari talks it out with them, and Masa accepts Belle to join MD-5.

Belle comes back to Dr. Sheridan's abandoned lab to save Theo from his glitched game cartridge. While Theo is running from the facepalms, Belle explains that the only way to save Theo is to beat Ultra Jump Mania. She also mentions that if the game is beaten, the memory cache will be fixed and cleared. It would also free him out of his game and its data will be transferred to Sofia's phone. Theo listens to Belle and wants to be out of his game and Belle guides Theo's freedom in Ultra Jump Mania.

She gets Theo through half of the game until she crashes into a wall while trying to glitch through. Suddenly, a mysterious purple glitter passes through Theo giving him an idea to let Belle rerun the course. He executes his idea with Belle controlling him and successfully glitches through the wall. Belle is amazed by his idea and Theo thanks her despite not wanting to be with him. She continues to help Theo to beat his game until she is captured by the mercenaries off-screen.

Belle is captured in the van along with Masa inside with Lucks finding out that Belle joined MD-5. As she shows the Project Blue file footage of Lucinia's disappearance, he realizes that Theo gave her the file. With Lucks finishing his conversation, Belle apologizes to Masa for everything she did to him, and Masa accepts her apology.

In a flashback, Belle is watching Lucinia playing Ultra Jump Mania and is seeing Lucinia's speed-running tricks. Masa enters Belle's room and tells her that she has a press conference to go to. Since Lucks didn't want Lucinia at the press conference, both Belle and Masa leave the room and they will see Lucinia "tomorrow". After the flashback of Lucinia, Belle asks if Lucks really knew what happened to Lucinia. Masa then had a thought that Lucks may have killed Lucinia Porter and her blood may have been on his hands.

Sofia is then captured by Lucks and Belle is glad to see her join inside of the van. With Sofia knowing that Tari is trying to save Theo into the cartridge while being held hostage in the van. Every MD-5 member and Belle gains faith and hope inside that Tari can save Theo from his glitched game cartridge.

Tari successfully frees Theo from his glitched game cartridge. With Lucks' van being crashed by Lamar's vehicle he comes out and holds Masa at gunpoint. As Lucks wanted the cartridge, Tari couldn't give it to him because it was too late. Then, he is exposed around the public and has a hand-to-hand combat fight with Masa as Belle gets out of the van. Lucks also mentions that Lucinia isn’t dead, getting Sofia's attention that Belle still doesn't believe that Lucinia isn't still alive.

Lucks reveals the truth that the lab explosion didn't completely kill Lucinia, but she is comatose. He also mentions that she lost her consciousness and Belle asks why Lucks hasn't found the A.I. yet. Lucks then mentions to Tari that she is the A.I. fragment of Lucinia Porter standing right beside Belle. Tari explains that Lucinia's fragments were merged into the A.I. creating Tari in the A.I. program servers. Tari still doesn't remember how she ended up in the world, but she does agree with Lucks that there is a way to revive Lucinia Porter.

As Lucks explains that he tried to save Lucinia, but Belle interrupts him. She snaps out about Lucks lying and letting Dr. Sheridan get away with the lab explosion. Belle also knows that Lucks only looks out for himself and calls him a "monster".

The police are getting close, and MD-5 starts to run except for Masa who is still holding gunpoint at Lucks. Belle and the rest of MD-5 convince him to not shoot Lucks since his dark actions have already been exposed. Masa listens and doesn't shoot Lucks, suddenly his arm glitches out and can't control it, his arm makes him shoot Lucks anyway. Everyone around him is shocked by Lucks' death, making Masa traumatized. With Tari wanting to help Masa, Lamar mentions that Masa cannot be helped if everyone is in prison, then Belle decides to stay with Masa to turn herself in with her previous crimes that she has committed with TAS Corp and lets the remaining members of MD-5 escape.

Season 3[]

Belle and Masa suddenly end up in Sher Corp (formerly TAS Corp) instead of prison. They are approached by Dr. Sheridan and his holograms. He mentions that Belle and Masa's minds have been warped inside of his servers, causing them to have minor brain damage after performing surgery. He offers Belle and Masa to join his Meta Runner team, but both of them rejected. Later, both of them witness Tari being brought by Evelyn to Sher Corp and Dr. Sheridan reveals his plan to decommission Tari to transfer Lucinia Porter's consciousness back from Tari while Lucinia is still in her prolonged coma.
