This is the old hangout spot. We didn't use to hang with Bakon, but he was always here. He was always playing with this claw machine. I wonder why? Let's take a look around. Maybe Bakon is here?
~ The narrator at the beginning of Chapter 5: The Hangout.
Bakon...is that you?
~ The narrator when Bakon appears in the chapter to kill the players.

Bakon is the titular main antagonist of the Roblox horror game of the same name, serving as the main antagonist of three different game modes: Player, Player and Bot and Double Trouble. He is also going to make a return in the upcoming sequel Bakon 2.

He was originally a teenage boy who loved hanging with his friends every once in awhile. However, things went awry when he was supposedly kidnapped by scientists that put him through torture and callous experimentations that led to him turning into a brutish and mutated serial killer that doesn't remember what happened in his life. In the game, he is a serial killer who goes after the players every time they attempt to find the escape door or defend themselves against him.

Appearance[]

Bakon looks like one of the default Roblox avatars. He has reddish-brown hair (often called bacon hair), white skin, a black jacket that is worn over a blue shirt, dark green trousers and black and white shoes. His eyes are also black and he always has a sinister smile on his face (much like Bot).

Biography[]

Not much is known about Bakon's past, but based on some indications in the game, he was once an innocent and kind teenage boy who cared deeply about his friends, when all of a sudden, he was mysteriously kidnapped by a group of scientists and taken to their laboratory where he would be subjected to insufferable torture and later some horrific experiments that he tried to resist, but the abusive scientists refused to respect his wishes and went through it anyway, causing him to be brainwashed against his will. Eventually, he become a mutated serial killer named Bakon, and it's heavily implied that the boy who got experimented on is still trapped in the killer's body even to this day and he is desperately trying to escape from its control, but he keeps failing, causing him to get lifelong PTSD due to the traumatic past he endured. Plus, he doesn't even remember what his life was like before he became evil, making him even more devastatingly tragic.

In all 12 chapters, players will get a chance to vote for which game mode should be played. Out of the 4 game modes (Bot, Player, Player and Bot and Double Trouble), if the "Player" game mode, "Player and Bot" game mode or "Double Trouble" game mode is chosen, players will get an opportunity to use Bakon as their skin so they can target and attack the other players who attempt to beat the chapters by finding the escape door. Bakon also has the potential to put foot traps on the door that can temporarily freeze players in their tracks so that it's easier for him to kill off his victims.

Personality[]

Bakon is depicted as an extremely vengeful and bloodthirsty murderer who is very affected by his past and is willing to do anything to right his wrongs, even if it means killing those who haven't done anything to him, as shown in some of the beginnings of the chapters where he evidently kills someone by stabbing them fatally (though it's unknown who he's killing in these cutscenes). This means that despite not wanting to, Bakon doesn't mind being forced to take drastic measures.

Despite this, Bakon is truly redeemable. He still cares about the narrator, who has been friends with him for a long time, and it's implied that Bakon still wants to impress his friends despite being evil. He also has a decent sense of honor, as he gives the players 30 seconds to prepare for a round before going after them and trying to kill them so they can't escape from him. Plus, considering that he is controlled by players only, Bakon can choose whether or not to stalk, torture or kill the players if he wants to, or he can simply stand still until the round ends or if the player quits the game, which would result in Bot stepping in. This shows that Bakon isn't entirely evil.

Victims[]

  • Several people: Implied to have stabbed a few people in some cutscenes of the game. Though, it's unknown if these people were innocent or if they deserved to die for one reason or another.
  • Dr. Swine: Killed him with the help of Bot and then had the latter revive Dr. Swine as a vengeful mass murderer.
  • The players: Can kill them in a variety of ways by chasing them and then slashing them to death or getting them stuck by foot traps on the floor before killing them off if he's close enough. He can also rack up a low kill count of 2 or a high kill count of 5 (in the "Player" and "Player and Bot" game modes) or 4 (in the "Double Trouble" game mode) depending on how many players are in a single server.

Trivia[]

  • Bakon is the only character in the series to be confirmed to appear in both games: Bakon and Bakon 2.
  • Unlike Bot, Bakon's actions are all dependent on the player's wishes, as they can choose to try and kill the players or simply do nothing for either most of the round or even the entirety of the round.
  • Bakon is the default skin for every player upon playing Bakon for the first time.
