The Apex Hammerhead is a large Hammerhead Shark that lives in Sapphire Bay of Port Clovis in the 2020 shark game, Maneater. It's the fourth of seven Apex Predators living in Port Clovis.

Characteristics

The Apex Hammerhead is considered much larger than regular Hammerheads which are level 10. The Hammerhead is at level 21 making it 11 times more bigger and stronger, even stronger than Great White Sharks. This Apex Predator is considered one of the most boring predators since it looks like regular hammerheads with no unique traits that stick out like the rest of the Predators, no mutations, no history, just some odd patterns on the bottom of his face.

History

Fight against the Bull Shark

After terrorizing Sapphire Bay by eating the Apex Hammerhead's food supply, hunting hunted animals, and controlling the human population, the female Bull Shark makes her way to middle of the region to fight the Apex Hammerhead as the objective, "Put the Hammer Down" appears. Upon entering, a cutscene plays showing the Hammerhead growling as it swivels its head right and left and the freeze frame activates as the shark opens its mouth and the Narrator says. "The Evolutionary Anomaly... The Hammerhead!" and the shark swims a distance from the player as it ends.

The battle between the Adult Bull Shark and the Apex Hammerhead ensues as the two sharks clash. Even at a high level such as 25 or more before the Elder and MEGA stage, the Bull Shark will still be vulnerable to the Hammerhead's thrashing if staying still. The Hammerhead will also try bash into the Bull Shark with its head to stun it along with the use of its tail. The Bull Shark manages to defeat the Apex Hammerhead is awarded the Bone Body Evolution. Afterwards, the Bull Shark gets in her first boss battle with Scaly Pete and his son, Kyle Leblance on their boat, The Cajun Queen.
