Afton Robotics are major antagonists in the ScottGames era of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, serving as the main antagonists of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location and the overarching antagonists of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator.
It is a robotics company which was founded by William Afton and owns the Funtime Animatronics. They are also the owners of Circus Baby's Pizza World, Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals.
History[]
Afton Robotics. Limited Liability Corporation is a robotics company founded by William Afton. They are the ones responsible for the creation of the Funtime Animatronics. William Afton is implied to only have built the animatronics for kidnapping and killing children. It's proven with the blueprints, as they show strange features like Funtime Freddy having a storage tank to keep the children inside) and Funtime Foxy having parental voice recording to lure the children.
The first location the company owned and operated in was Circus Baby's Pizza World. However, it didn't last very long, as William's daughter, Elizabeth Afton, got kidnapped and killed by Circus Baby. The company had to cancel the grand opening of the pizzeria, claiming it was because of gas leaks in the building. Afton Robotics then became a rental company that lets customers rent out animatronics for birthday parties, thus Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental was built to work as a maintenance facility for the animatronics.
When Michael Afton was there during the events of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, the robots led by Baby (Elizabeth) wanted to escape from the underground facility, So they manipulated Michael into getting scooped in the Scooping Room, thus making Michael escape with Ennard (every Funtime animatronic) inside of him. Two employees who worked as technicians also died during these events. Both of them got hanged in separate rooms by the animatronics. It is unknown what later happened with the corporation, but it's likely that it got shut down due to not having any animatronics left and their owner dying.
