Aderbal Pimenta is one of many antagonist to appear in a soap opera, he is a corrupt mayor of the city and newly elected from Jatoba in a state of Rio de Janeiro, he was in the beginning only a merchant but after getting quite known in a program of radio on a station, he is his mother, Mrs. Consuelo are complicit in drug sales. He is also a religious fanatic and a biased since he abhors Rafael who is a love interest of his daughter Lais, and because he is an atheist and has two mothers who are lesbians, he also frequently cynoses his wife, and besides him having had love relationship with Ines and even helped her put Beatriz in jail.

Soon after his wife discovered the truth, she became very angry and asked for a divorce, after the arrest Beatriz and Ines is also arrested since she was indicted by Beatriz after discovering that Ines's fingerprints were on the murder weapon she used to kill the Cristovão that is the father of the protagonist called Regina, Aderbal goes there to visit Ines, he promises that he will do his best to get her out of jail, soon after both Ines and Beatriz escape from jail, and Ines commits suicide inside the car and she Beatriz die soon after.
With this, Aderbal makes a speech making promise to the people, however, he was already being investigated, Aderbal is arrested for corruption, and giving way to his mother Consuelo.
