Abyzou

Abyzou is a female demon with a gorgon-like appearance, in Near Eastern and European folklore she believes she is responsible for miscarriage and infant deaths and that she was motivated by jealousy, since she herself was infertile. Already in Hebrew tradition, Abyzou was identified as Lilith, and already in skeptical Egypt with Alabasandria, and in Byzantine culture she was identified with Gylou, but in various texts in the ancient and medieval syncretic magical practice, they say that she has several and innumarable names as Abizou, Obizu, Obizouth, Byzou etc. She is pictured with fish or serpents. And its representation in the most complete literature was in the demonology known as the Testament of Solomon, which was dated in many ways by scholars from first century to the fourth century.
